In 1970 - Andrzej Lachowicz, Natalia LL, Zbigniew DÅ ubak and Antoni Dzieduszycki initiated the Neo-Avant-Garde group Permafo (an abbreviation of the words permanent and photo/formalization). Andrzej Lachowicz was the designer of the logo of the group. Lachowicz was also a founder and the art director of the Permafo Gallery in WrocÅ aw, that was the most influential institution and the centre of Polish photomedialism until it closed in 1981.
