First edition in English of this Revolutionary Wars-era gazetteer, with a previously unpublished table "intended to shew the state of those countries that have undergone changes from the present war", by the inventor of statistical graphs and diagrams, William Playfair. Compiled and translated almost entirely from Jäger's and Boetticher's original German texts, Playfair's supplementary table details the social, political, economic, and military particulars of the various European countries.
