German Oculus stereoscope in original wood case. Looks to have barely been used, overall excellent condition. Includes (8) glass stereoviews, one is cracked. We ship most items in this auction in house and gladly combine shipping if possible of multiple items. Provenance: Russell, Johanson, Ravenna Rare Books, Seattle, Washington estate collection. Original German 3D image viewer was used to train people for reviewing aerial reconnaissance pictures. Made by Oculus. A very precise stereoscope, with little adjustable comparison tool. It comes with 8 different slides, some are of landscapes and some are calibration slides. It all packs up nicely in its original wooden box. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
Orders usually ship within 2 business days [M-F]. We will provide tracking for all orders. Items shipped via USPS Mail should arrive within 4-14 business days. We ship from Hawaii. Media Mail can take up to 14 - 20 days just to reach the West Coast by ship. Therefore we ship all smaller and regular sized items within the US by Priority Mail without additional cost to the customer. Oversized or heavy books might have to be shipped by Media Mail.
Please note, as per USPS, depending on service location and/or high peak periods within the post office, deliveries can take up to 21 business days to arrive. Should your order not arrive within 21 business days, please contact us promptly for resolution.
