Over 260 illustrations. Condition: a reading copy; fair to good condition with moderate to heavy shelf wear at foot, rubbed corners, edge wear, small stains, nicks and discolorations to boards - more prominent on the rear panel. Slight fraying and loss at foot of spine. The binding still feels solid, and all pages are present. Interior has light tanning and spotting to endpapers, but main text is unaffected.
