Beautiful 1943 Knopf edition with paintings and drawings by Horacio Butler in original unclipped dust jacket. Clean rust colored cloth boards with gold decoration, blue lettering on cover, gold lettering and decoration on spine. No bumping, fading or wear. Approximate size is 7-3/4" x 10-3/4". Lovely decorated endpapers are clean and free of any writing or marks. Foreword by John Galsworthy. Color illustrations with tissue guards. 232 pages. Dust jacket is not price clipped (6.00 on front inside flap), some very shallow edge chipping and short closed edge tears, slight age-toning. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover.
