Octavo, blue cloth covered boards, with red and yellow title and cover decoration and spine titles. 159 pp. plus acknowledgments. Teacher's Guide for the 1946-1947 school year. Contains the complete "Fun with Dick and Jane" primer with all multi-color illustrations, plus introduction, and lesson plans for each unit provided as teaching guides, along with a bibliography and "Index of Skill-Building Exercises". The most scarce issue of this foundational and widely popular elementary school reading primer of the immediate post-war period. This is a complete and very attractive, tightly bound copy. Titles and decorations are clear and undiminished and the cloth is also clean and fresh excepting slight fading to the background blue on spine. The interior pages are all unmarked and without any stains, foxing, tears etc. Pages 85-95 show minor effects of soft corner dogearing at top fore corners, the spine is slightly but evenly cocked forward and there is minor dust darkening to outer page edges (not affecting interior).
