12mo, pp. [4], 217, [1], [2] ads; original blue paper-covered boards, brown paper shelfback, printed paper label on spine; some cracking along the joints, corners bumped, but generally very good and sound. On the front pastedown in ink: "Calgarth Park / 1818" and with a Calgarth Park bookplate. Calgarth Park was the home of Richard Watson (1737-1816) Bishop of Llandaff and a Whig politician. This second edition is published the same year as the first.
