1/900. 8vo. xx,126,20,pp. Three-quarter cloth over paper-covered boards with Heine's gold-stamped signature and "Georg Brandes" in gold lettering on cover. Mylar jacket. Top part of front- and back board sunned. Hinges starting. Illustrated endpapers. With two original etchings by Hermann Struck, one being the frontispiece of Heinrich Heine in profile, the other of his grave. Both etchings protected by captioned tissue guards. Additional 3 illustrations of reproductions from a painting of Therese Heine, a sculpture of Amalie Heine, fold-out drawing of "Les Deux Crenadiers," as well as a facsimile letter by Heine. Les Deux Crenadiers was written by Richard Wagner, the facsimile plate shows Heinrich Heine's name which was crossed out by Wagner and replaced with Robert Schumann. "Mit zwei Radierungen von Hermann Struck, drei Bildbeigaben und einem Schriftfaksimile." Text in German. Binding in good, interior in overall very good condition. Seller Inventory # 19909
