Book condition: very good, very scarce, noted as number 75 published, Battery A was formerly known as the Keystone Battery with the frontis illustration portraying the Keystone Battery in 1862, additional b/w illustrations, chapters cover the reminiscence of John Sailer's Civil War service, the record of the battery in Virginia during the Civil War, the campaign of 1864, the Labor Riots of 1877, the Spanish-American War, the Coal Strike of 1902 and more, the red cloth boards feature the battery's insignia in bright gilt as is the lettering, gilt on spine darkened, light scuffing to corners, a bit more to spine head and tail, light foxing to pastedowns and endpaper, heavier to ffep, interior very clean, binding tight, 272 pages, 5.5 X 8.25 inches.
