Third edition newly revised, corrected and enlarged in six volumes with 394 plates coloured by hand. Heavy green cloth hard covers with no significant cover wear apart from some roughening/rubbing of spine ends. There is some spotting of early and rear blank pages, and some spotting of title pages in each book including the frontispieces but the vast majority of plates are clear. There is a small owner's name on each title page ' Fredk. O. Lemann' (see photograph). Interiors have xx, 318; iv, 288; iv, 281; iv, 258; iv, 232; iv, 235 pages including index at rear.
