"The Hound of the Baskervilles" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle 1939 Photoplay Edition Vintage Hardcover Book with Extremely Rare Dust Jacket. 7 3/4" x 5 1/4" - 249 Pages. The very rare jacket is in fair condition with chips, wear and tape on the inside. The jacket is now protected with a Mylar cover. The hardcover book is in good minus condition, free from rips, tears, bends, and writing. The previous owner's Christmas gift tag is pasted on the front free end page, as well as their name written in black ink. Both front and back end pages are tanned. The boards are in good minus condition with light to minimal wear . The binding is tight and square. This is a fabulous collectible book with extremely rare photoplay dust jacket.The Photoplay Edition book was released in 1939 at the same time 20th Century Fox released the film with Basil Rathbone and Richard Greene.
