Soft cover. Condition: VG-. W. Heath Robinson (illustrator). First Edition. Wonderful First World War-themed cartoons by the incomparable Heath Robinson. The full-page cartoons appeared originally in various magazines, but published in book form first in 1916. Red spine has been professionaly and sypathetically replaced. Illustrated boards, 56pp with a cartoon on every page, inc frontis, title page and illustrated endpapers. Covers have general wear to edges and are a bit grubby, as are dusty page edges. Edges of endpapers are also grubby and foxed, but there is only very light foxing to rest of text bloc, which is generally clean and tight. Ref:114983. Seller Inventory # 004983

Cover: quarter cloth (red) with cream/yellow paper covered boards with same designs and lettering as jacket but silhouettes are in red; very clean and bright. Internally: very clean; front hinge broken but sewn block very tight, no inscriptions, paper slightly darkened at edges due to age.
