Green cloth ornately decorated and lettered in black and red, over red half leather spine lettered in gilt. xii+ 276 with glossary, index. Three color plates, one of the human skeleton and another of the musculature and the third of the circulatory system.An additiional 67 black and white illustrations in the text. The focus of the book is to point out in scientific and mediacal terms the harmful effects of alcohol and narcotics on the human body. A sound, very good, tight example, some wear at the spine extremities and with the answers to questions written in pencil on a few pages.
