312 pgs. ONE-OF-A-KIND Transitional book. This was the last isse to to be title "The Mailing List". Each volume hereafter is named "The Infantry School Quarterly". Blue denim colored HC book has gilt font on spine and fc, and is in GOOD + Shape. Bumped corners and spine ends, with rubbing, light overall soiling, and shelf wear to cover boards and spine. Blue eps, unmarked but for po name stamp on all three page edges, page edges yellowed, no foxing of any kind. Tight, square, clean, strong hinges, but with a slight musty odor. No DJ as issued. There is an incredible selection and number of b&w illustrations and photos of infantry equipment, from including various battle rifles, bazookas, mortars, recoiless rifles, anti-tank guns, artillery, and even tanks! Includes a super rare illustration of the first US Tank. The CIVIL WAR era Winan's Steam Battery (I have never even heard of this one, despite having 200+ books in my own personal Civil War Collection)!
