A very good (for its age) copy of this arrangement for pianoforte and voice of this famous operetta; undated but no later than 1884 when it was signed and dated by the original owner. It was first performed in 1882. No Dust Jacket (as issued?). Cover: black buckram covered boards with gilt lettering to front and gilt decoration to top and bottom of spine; 5 cm split to bottom front of spine and bumping to all corners but no loss; generally clean, gilt bright. Internally: very clean and tightly bound; paper darkened with age; occasional pencil performance notes; generally in remarkably good condition for its age. 134 pp. Seller Inventory # 002395
