The photographs have all been mounted to an album. Undated, but from the cars likely to be mid 1960s or so. The album is spiral bound and appears of contemporary age to the photographs. The pictures, all bar one, are 9 x 13 cms in size. Some simple translations (apologies for the likely very poor accuracy) of the photo captions include; schedule 2nd day of age Nono Gojo, Ryoumei Castle, Kosugi Town, Fang Days Kosugi-cho to Akashi. 5th day Akashi, Senmatsu, participant, Matsumoto Masa Sogo Shiraishi Matsumoto. Climb down the Usui Pass and drive through Karasaki City, Maebashi City, and enjoy the hot springs of Ikaho. There was also an idea that he would go around in a motorboat because of the heavy rain, but he was in a hurry. Ikaho Onsen. The foot of Mt. Akagi in the distance. Fujimura (Thursday) Award. The route is a princess running in the central area that tops the famous Shizuoka Aikawa.
