Covers and inside of hardcover case illustrated with a 19th century woodcut reproduction of the famous Hikone-screen, bound with string in the traditional Japanese style (4 pages were upside down before being bound). Illustrated end pages, PON verso FFEP, beautifully illustrated. Wrap around hardcover case covered in ivory colored cloth with Japanese characters and a red chop on front, closes with 2 faux bone fasteners and ribbons. Slight water stains and oil paint stains on case, PON in small print inside front. A very nice piece. Probably printed in the late 1950's. Seller Inventory # 000443
