About this Item
Original reverse calf boards and banded spine. Front hinge weak. Some loss of leather to edges and corners bumped. Tanning to paste down but most pages clean but aged. Binding tight. This copy has the book plate of James Pascoe of Alceston House, Penzance and a small neat inscription on fep. (Pascoes were lawyers and magistrates in Penzance). The first twenty pages are on Customs and Excise followed by Excise in general to page 30, the subsequent pages to 508 cover the subjects Ale to Jurors alphabetically. Size - 215mm. x 135mm.
