The book is gray pictorial cloth covered boards with illustration of a young Seminole Indian with huts in the back ground. There is slight shelf edge wear and the previous owner's name is on first end page. The book is faithful to historical characters and events. The story of a Seminole boy who moved to the Oklahoma Territory during the removal. Frontis is map of Florida and there are 11 color plates plus 2 black and white maps and other black and white illustrations. The author was the wife of the famous Dodge City Marshall and later United States Marshall in Oklahoma. This is the 1956 printing of the 1954 copyright. 169 ages. Seller Inventory # 016717
