H 15.5cm x L 10cm. Original brown cloth rubbed and soiled, spine ends frayed with 6.5cm tear and slender vertical cloth loss at lower rear joint, spine's gilt stamped lettering and decoration remains quite bright but not vibrant, dark staining to rear board, corners bumped and worn. Browned and soiled front and rear pastedowns; ink ownership inscription dated 1873 upon front pastedown with pencil notes too; front free endpaper and front flyleaf lacking; ink ownership signature on title page with faded pencil notes; only stub of rear free endpaper still present with soiled verso of rear flyleaf. Some foxing and soiling along edges of text block; minor ink stain at lower corners of pages 31-41; mostly mild foxing upon interior leaves. Double column text with small print.
