SIGNED ON THE BLANK OPPOSITE THE TITLE PAGE as follows: "Lloyd Peters SR. / First Edition 1967." Profusely illustrated with black and white captioned photos. Endpapers are color maps. Green paper over boards with letters in black on the front cover and the spine and three black and white photos on the front cover: a woman in a parka feeding a bear, the face of an Indian brave, and a forest scene. The rear cover is a reproduction of a newspaper article with four photos: Peters as a slap-stick character, as a circus clown, as an Indian brave, and Peters as a terrifying witch. The article is headlined "Local Hobby Shop Owner Acted in Silent Films with Many Stars." Wear to extremities with just one corner rubbed through, top and bottom of spine just starting to fray, ever so slightly canted, paper just starting to crack along front gutter but no separation, very slight musty odor, else very good to near fine with no internal markings.
