With the binders stamp of Riviere to the tail of the front pastedown. Thomas Moore was a Irish poet, and singer. Among his most notable works includes 'The Minstrel Boy' and 'The Last Rose of Summer'. Aside from his poetical work, he is also known for burning Lord Byron's memoirs, alongside John Murray, after his death. 'Lalla-Rookh' consists of four narrative poems, in which a young engaged woman falls in love with another man, only to find he is the prince to which she is betrothed in disguise.
