25x36 cm. Uncolored political cartoons printed on recto and verso. Mild fraying and chipping at edges. Trimmed very close at top, with headers on both sides either missing or trimmed. The Last New Fashion depicts courtiers bowing to the sovereigns. Billy's Birth Day shows the King William IV and Queen Adelaide with men being depicted bearing gifts. These are numbers 55 and 56 of Grant's series, The Political Drama. Not being well-versed in the British politics of the 1830's, we are unable to interpret most of the references or identify the individuals being lampooned in this series of political cartoons.
