This hardcover book is square and tight. The boards show reasonable amount of shelfwear, with the points worn through. Back edge of spine worn down with partial split. The gilt on the spine is still legible. The pages are clean, with no markings or folds. Tissue guard is present at title page. Previous period owner signatures on free end page dated 1876 (along with two more recent signatures). Front hinge is cracked but block is still tight.
