A beautiful vintage children's book with bright, colourful, and dynamic illustrations by Milo Winter (1888-1956) and a sweet, fable-style story by Alf Evers, both staples of American children's literature in the early twentieth century. This copy is in good condition. It is bound in paper wrappers with a stapled spine. There is some wear and creasing to the paper wrappers, and some age-related discolouration. Internally the book has some mild age-related discolouration, but nothing that significantly detracts from the text or undermines the vitality of the illustrations. Seller Inventory # 190
