Finely but austerely bound in full crushed red morocco by MacLehose of Glasgow, gilt titling, all edges gilt, interior dentelle, marbled endsheets. Shows light wear, minor rubbing to the spine & corners, small spot on spine; engraved armorial (just a crest & motto) bookplate of one Walter King, of the family of the Earl of Kingston, in Ireland.
