First edition. 12mo in blue cloth hardcovers lettered in gilt. 104 pp. with striking art nouveau color frontispiece of an angelic mother holding an infant, rising from the pages of a book lit by a pair of Tiffant style lamps. Illustration by Spencer Baird Nichols. A collection of short prose piece celebrating and honoring mothers, wives and homemakers. Fine in the original dust jacket duplicating the color frontispiece design; couple short closed taers bottom edge of the front panel and a small chip to the center of the spine strip extending into the front gutter fold. Laid in is a publisher's advertising pamphlet/ order blank for "Poems by Alfred Noyes". Very scarce in dust jacket, the illustration of which is very striking. Bookseller Inventory # E13030B
