Rev John Watson, known by his pen name Ian Maclaren, was a Scottish author and theologian who wrote several novels and sermons. In a half morocco binding with cloth covered boards and gilt detailing. Binding by Denny. Externally, smart with some rubbing particularly at front joint. Front joint starting slightly. Bookplate of Joseph Alexander Walton to front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound.
