32 p. 28 cm. Sound and square library binding in illustrated, cloth-covered boards. Light rub wear to the edges and corners. A bit of rubbing in the gutters. Rear pastedown endpaper was not centered correctly in glue-down, so is closer to the the fore-edge than it should be. A bit of roughness to the endpaper edges where glue from endpapers seeped out. The inside pages are clean, bright, and unmarked. The dustjacket has some wear to the corners and spine ends and is shelf rubbed overall. It is clipped at both ends of the front flap but retains a 0968 date of printing code. A scarce copy in very nice condition. A story of a mean man who marries a mean woman and learns what it is like to be treated meanly when he has many children, who all prove to be mean too. Colour and black and white illustrations.
