This VG+ quality World Landmark book was published by Random House in 1953. The book has a very slight lean, is very clean, with lightly bumped upper corners and no edge dings. The head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with no fabric damage; the bottom edges and lower corners have virtually no wear; the hinges are strong and tight. The book has no fading. With the exception of an inked inscription on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper is slightly toned but is very flexible. The VG jacket is intact and complete and not faded. It has small chips at the front corners and a bit less damage at the head of the spine; there are two short (1/2" or less) tears on the upper edge, one on the Front panel, one on the rear.
