A VERY GOOD Nineteenth- Century issue. No date given, but c. 1850s. Approx 4-1/2" tall X 3" wide, the volume is bound in embossed faded maroon cloth. A previous owners name in lovely 'copperplate' script on blank yellow front free end-paper. A 1" square offset on a few pages (8) (see photo). Crown and foot of spine cloth just starting to fray a bit. 64 pages. Volume protected in a mylar slip.This publisher was known for their many juvenile/children's series. Hard to find title.
