Topography is depicted in hachure and geographic features are labeled, though the emphasis is clearly on the numerous Native American tribes labeled throughout the image. Scores are identified, ranging from the Navajos in New Mexico to the Xanambres in San Louis Potosi. Published c. 1880 as part of Hubert Howe Bancroft's The native races of the Pacific states of North America. Sheet Width (in) 14 Sheet Height (in) 9 Condition Description Creased along originally issued fold lines and a ragged right edge where previously bound.
