Hardback, 8vo. 7.75 x 5.5 inches. In green cloth covers with gilt lettering and white pictorial design by Jessie M. King to spine and front. In good condition. Edges and ends of spine rubbed, some rubbing to design on spine. Corners slightly bumped. Glue repair between front endpapers. Neat inscription to front ?Gerald L. Walker, from his Godfather. Mashobea(?) July 8th 1915.? Endpapers darkened. Some handling marks/spots to edge of title page, some minor handling marks to pages, some minor spots to page edges. A couple of minor gaps between gatherings. Else a good clean and tight copy. xx + 444pp. Illustrated with coloured frontis & one other full-page colour plate, 480 B&W illustrations in text by William Harvey, and cover design by Jessie M.
