Pages are mostly clear, with light tanning and foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with a water mark to upper corner. A few nicks and creases along text block edge, with visible thumb-marking present throughout. Slight cracking to gutters and rear hinge with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Black rub marking to gutter of pages 296-297. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with scuffing and bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces.
