Soundly bound in original maroon cloth with titles in gilt to upper board. Some moderate scaling, silverfish preadtion to the sizing of the boards at spine edge and less so to board surfaces. Published with a half-title page but no proper title page. Contents clean and complete. An account of a summer trip, circuitous in nature, across and back the breadth of nother New Jersey. The urban and urbane travelers depart from Nyack in a hired carriage, recording their observations, often humorously phrased, as they make their journey.
