Black cloth and paper-covered boards. Silver stamping to the spine is bright. Abrasions to the head and tail of backstrip, but all edges are un-worn. There is a one-inch split to the bottom of the external front hinge, not penetrating to the interior. Slight overall soiling to the boards and some dust soiling to the top edge. The jacket shows chipping to edges overall and closed tears to the front fold and spine portion. There is a one-inch triangular piece missing from the lower back panel extending slightly into the spine portion. Price $5.95 is intact. The interior is straight, sound and the map endpapers are intact through gutters. Overall a nice copy of this title scarce in this hardcover edition. Stated first edition. Bookseller Inventory #
