12.75" wide x 10", oblong, blue cloth. Beautifully-illustrated pictorial guide to ocean liners from the world-famous marine photography of Beken of Cowes. Lavish full-page photograph of each ship with the facing page containing the story of the ship and listing very detailed specifications of her building, engines/boilers, dimensions, weights, etc. This copy is in Very Good Plus condition with only minor bumping and some faint spots on the back board; otherwise Fine. Dustjacket is Very Good to VG Minus overall with some old water stains on the reverse visible in the upper left corner of the front and a repaired tear near the bottom of the spine; repair included color touch-up that is darker than the surrounding area; reverse of dj has darkening from the moisture (remnants of mold, which is dead and dried and has no smell). Despite all this, it's not a bad-looking jacket: see the photo. Would look nice in a Brodart/Mylar cover (I don't have this size). More photos available upon request. Seller Inventory # 02026x
