A critical text of the Italian Dante Society. Careful and elegant typography (see images). Pale beige cotton bookmark. Top edge is stained light blue. Turquoise calico-texture cloth boards. Gilt (gold) titles towards the head and tail of the spine. Condition: the book's boards are a little faded in places; especially at the corners and along the joints. Internally: the pages are mildly tanned. While the binding is generally tight, there is a little looseness between the half title page and endpaper opposite; revealing a little of the book's binding materials. Five pages with highlighted underlining detected - see example image. Occasionally pages are dog eared. Testo in italiano. pp. xxx,933/8vo.
