About this Item
Printed wraps. An issue of this general interest magazine, with this one featuring short editorials or essays on topics such as: "Negro Suffrage in the South," which examines laws in Southern states regarding African-American voting rights, asserting that laws requiring ownership of property do not seem to intend to discriminate against African-Americans, while laws requiring knowledge of the Constitution probably do, but overall seemingly taking the position that some barriers to voting, such as property ownership, are acceptable. Also present are articles/editorials on "Forced Labor in West Virginia;" "The Efficiency of Unions," etc., GOOD condition. Small label on the front cover. Offsetting/browning along the extremities. Minor soiling. Some creasing, with a few pages bearing dog ear creases. Seller Inventory # 015481
