Marie Taglioni (1804-84), Italian/Swedish ballerina of the Romantic ballet. - Reference: British Museum inventory No. 1901, 1022, 1301: This series is extremely close to another produced by Richard James Lane (1901,1022.2352-57) and it is evidently based on the same set of drawings by Alfred Edward Chalon, which is basis for the more common set published in London by Lane.
