Blue hardcover with silver lettering on spine, 188 pages, published for The Crime Club by Collins, no date although "1929" is written pencil on front end page which is also the half title page, there is also a number and check mark written in ink on the upper outer corner of that page, covers show some fairly light rubbing to edges and corners, high acid content paper is yellowed, hinges are good inside and out, slightly cocked from leaning stored with foredge down, very little cover soil, slight damp stain on rear cover is somewhat hard to see, a tight copy, dust jacket shows some edge tears and chips and a damp stain on rear and an old price sticker on front and general surface rubbing.
