Stockholm, H. Fougt, 1775. 8:o. (10),237,(3) pp. Engraved vignette on title. Sewn in contemporary grey stiff paper wrappers with blue ink smudge which is almost decorative. Worn spine with illegible MS paper label and small repair at bottom. Front cover with a slight vertical crack. First 80 pages slightly browned in parts and somewhat dampstained. Occasional spotting. A few marginal notes. A large copy with wide margins. Bibliotheca Walleriana 7404. Several later editions were published. The first national Swedish pharmacopoeia, compiled by Abraham Bäck, David von Schulzenheim and others, with the assistance and supervision of Linnaeus and Scheele, among others. Linnaeus' nomenclature is apostrophed in the foreword and the section containing materia medica is based on a draft by his hand. Seller Inventory # 40244B
