A very well-presented copy, with binding firm and secure, and gilt titles and designs at front remaining bright and attractive, though a little dulled along the spine from general handling and use. Some rubbing also affects edges and ends of spine, and outer corners, but the overall external impression remains very good. Gilt page edges are mostly bright, but a little thumbed at the corners, p. 37-8 has a sizeable tear repaired with conservation tape, but no other major creases or wear. Some rubbing along front edge of front endpaper, but otherwise internally very well-presented throughout, with some very occasional spots and thumb-marks to the margins, but no major marks or signs of wear.
