About this Item

Off-white cloth boards are darkened and stained. Blind-stamped decorative borders on both covers, gilt stamped emblem in the center of the front cover, matching blind-stamped decoration on the rear cover. Gilt lettering on the spine. Covers are soiled, rubbed, and stained. Extremities are darkened and rubbed, with small areas of wear, corners are worn. Spine is a trifle cocked, darkened, bumped and worn at head and foot. Former owner's bookplate appears on the front pastedown, endpp. are a bit soiled. Text is quite clean, with the exception of a random spot of foxing or soiling. Binding is sound and tight.
