Issues 1 and 2 of The Pound Newsletter, staple bound mimeo sheets, 8pp and 30pp respectively. The Pound Newsletter was an international hub of Poundian studies at a time when Pound's reputation had dropped significantly. One can see in these pages Poundians discussing the shocks of World War II, and what possible good can come from Pound and The Cantos. These first two issues see the announcement of the newsletter with its purposes (much of which include annotation; Edwards and Vasse went on to publish The Annotated Index to Cantos I - LXXI as part result of this newsletter) alongside discussions of Pound's trial and his incarceration in St. Elizabeth's.
