About near fine with blue line across the top of the photo, pencil notation at the bottom and small fingerprint at the lower left corner, with the stamp on photographer Alfredo Valente on the back along with various layout notation in blue pencil. Press photograph of Gladys George and Philip Ober taken to her appearance in playwright Lawrence Riley's breakout 1934 Broadway comedy *Personal Appearance*, which was later made into the Mae West film *Go West, Young Man*. George received an Oscar nomination two years later for playing the title character in *Valiant Is the Word for Carrie*, while Ober is best remembered for roles in *From Here to Eternity* and *North By Northwest*.
