59, [1] pp., 8vo, burgundy cloth, silver gilt title on spine, dustjacket. This copy SIGNED, with a presentation inscription by the author, poet and novelist Lawrence Durrell (1912-1990) to John Waller, presumably the author, poet and journalist Sir John Stanier Waller, 7th Baronet (1917-1995). Also, with the contemporary, dated ownership signature of John Waller of Kensington. On the rear pastedown is the small faint stamp of "The [illegible] Book Club, Kensington W, 8." Fine copy of the book in a near fine/very good dustjacket that is toned at the edges but otherwise fully intact. An overall very well-preserved copy. Seller Inventory # 3479
