Portfolio pastedown and each plate is stamped 'G. Owen Bonawit, Inc 28-30 East 10th Street New York.' G. Owen Bonawit was a renowned artist and studio responsible for stained glass work, knowned for its pieces in Yale's Sterling Memorial Library. Plate 12 and 29 are missing; though, there is an unnumbered plate in place of 12 that is specified as 'Halfmoon, which does not appear on the index. Includes a publisher's advertisment for the set. An interesting piece for the maritime collector. Good+ (boards scuffed & edge-worn; cloth spine has two white stain spots. corners rubbed. spine top rubbed w/ small tears to spine edges; top frayed. index pamphlet smudged & lightly tanned. plates have edge-wear, rubbing & smudges; tanned. one remaining ribbon tie.).
