The October 1823 volume of 'Quarterly Review', the important literary magazine, this volume containing many book reviews. The bound volume of Volume XXX No. LIX of 'The Quarterly Review', for October 1823.This volume includes twelve articles, including reviews on 'The Orlando Furioso', 'Travels Through Sweden, Norway, and Finmark', 'Recollections of the Peninsula', 'Memoirs of the Mexican Revolution, and of General Mina', and more.'The Quarterly Review' was a prominent literary and political periodical that ran from 1809 to 1967.Four pages of adverts to the front, and one-hundred and eight pages of adverts to the rear. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, the rear third of the volume is held by cords only. Ink inscription to the rear wrap. Some loss of paper to the spine. Some light discolouration and marks to the boards. Minor edge wear to the wraps. Rear wrap is detaching to the tail. Internally, binding is strained in places. Pages are lightly age toned and generally clean with the occasional spot. Good Only. Seller Inventory # 830P18
