Fore-edge and bottom edge untrimmed. Every page bordered and decorated in green plus sixteen tipped-in color plates, all by Willy Pogany. Book with light wear; faded across front cover top edge. Condition: Very Good. Reprint. HB. Red decorative cloth with black titles to spine and front, and blue-green decorative dustjacket with same motifs to front (Islamic columns and floral motifs to borders) 94pp, 14 x 9.5 cm. With 8 colour plates from paintings by Willy Pogany. Each page of cream paper has orange decorations printed on, and the title page has the same decorative motifs as the cover and jacket, printed in brown on yellow. An attractive little volume. Very Good book in Good jacket. Clean covers, with light rubbing and fading to cloth edges. Pages clean but endpapers browned and with small spot marks. Jacket has small losses to spine ends and corners, a few small spots, Seller Inventory # 33376

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Willy Pogany (illustrator). This book has grey/olive boards with brown writing and illustrations on the front board and the spine. It is in a very good condition with very minimal shelf ware and bumping. A few of the pages inside the front and back boards, do have some age spotting, which disappears after that. There are 16 coloured tipped in plates, one has a small crease on the edge, the others are in a very good condition. Some of the pages are uncut and are unpaginated. There is a penned inscription inside on the front end paper and a sticker which says'Ex Libris Dolores Govan'. There is an age spot on the outside of the pages on the bottom section. OVerall it is in a very good condition, without the jacket. I cannot find a date the book was published, but it does look like an old verysion. Seller Inventory # 012488
